We may only be a small business of two in the Blue Mountains but if we have goals so big that we feel embarrassed to tell other people, we can all grow and grow and grow to where we want to be. A small record shop opened in 1971 on Oxford Street, London. It’s owner sold records at prices that competed with major retailers that went against the grain of the current marketplace that had restrictions on discounted pricing, but cheekily did well and began to grow. What started as a business in a record shop became the one of the world most known brands and has expanded into several industries across the globe...even an airline here in Australia. Virgin, just the same as Apple, just the same as Amazon, The Huffington Post and Ford, all started out with a one or two person operation of humble beginnings but with time, people like Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Arianna Huffington and Henry Ford made their small business, big business. So I guess it just depends on how much you want to grow? 😊
